We released Alla Prima’s debut issue last year. It was a tribute to the Dutch painter who comes to mind first whenever one mentions Post-Impressionism. Featuring Van Gogh as our cover subject, that debut issue explored two high-profile thefts from the museum bearing his name within our ‘Art Crime’ section, while our ‘Artwork’ section delved into the history of his iconic Café Terrace at Night. Naturally, the issue extended beyond Van Gogh, touching upon a diverse array of topics across various sections. For those interested, the digital version remains available on our website.
After several months, we have commenced work on the second issue of Alla Prima. We are delighted to share some wonderful news with our art-loving readers: the second issue is set for release towards the end of this month. This issue’s cover subject will focus on the legendary landscape painter, Albert Bierstadt.
Furthermore, we have another exciting announcement for art enthusiasts. Our show, The Work of Art, is set to return. The new episode will premiere on the Trailer Night Art YouTube channel.
